ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP MALAYSIA: OBC-BU SEPT 9/12 BRING-A-FRIEND DAY

.

We all have friends.. I mean who doesn't, but how much do we care about the friends to actually get them involved in a healthy socio-fitness activity? Yes.. we care alot and hence the monthly Bring-A-Friend day every 3rd Friday of the month. Bring-A-Friend Day or BAF Day is the first step or rather a sneak preview of a better healthier lifestyle and... of course healthier circle of friends. Being in a circle of people that share a similar passion for sexier lifestyle will assure an improved consistency in training.

Of course, one of the first few to arrived is non other than our 'mascot'.. the famous torn pants Yam Chan Siucheh...

Although waking up in an ungodly hour needed a little extra effort, there were more than a dozen friend that arrived as early as 5:30am. Amongst them was Aisan Lim, whom trained with me for almost 10 months at KLA but went MIA due to work pressure that forced her to run and cycle at the Gym instead. We also welcome Tan Lay Cheng (LC) from the circle of parent at the Garden International School.

Aisan Lim whom is attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affair was chauffeured driven to OBC-BU by an actuarial science driver, Reza Seth. So high was Aisan Lim's requirement for a driver. Just kidding... Reza Seth was also a fellow comrade at KLA but had to retire from Bootcamp due to late hours studying for a major professional actuarial examination (scary!!). Today, Reza Seth was multi-tasked to be a friend, recruit (R), an observer and a driver.

As a start, the friends had a taste of the Bootcamp run-against-time... aka Clock Run. We run ala different time.... Australia time to London time, Berlin, Penchala etc etc... since that was too easy, the run was changed to a bear-walk from one Clock time to another with two pushups at every stop.

Then, the friends were introduced to some basic equipments that will be regularly used during workout such as an the obese tyres, mock rifles, sandbag and ropes. They were also introduced to some basic workout such as the Battling Ropes, flip the obese tyres, military situps, military push ups, GRUNTS!!, mountain climbers and stutter squats.

As a welcoming greeting for Aisan, she on solo single handed-ly flipped the tyre from one side and went to the other side to flip it back from a supposedly partner-base flipped-the-tyre. Super Delta?

The last circuit, of course the friends too was given a complimentary organic grass spa with the leopard crawl. We rub ourselves against the fresh organic grass with some bonus mud at certain angle.

James Fong: That look like me.. crawl like me... dirty like me... Aaah that is me!!!

Err.. no comment.

The organic grass scrub is a must have at the Bootcamp.. its the best!!

Sarge Dann flying from one end to the other to either correct the recruits form
or motivating them for 110% effort...

Some opted for baby crawl instead of Leopard crawl.

Many felt they are babies and opted for the baby crawl...

but someOne swam in the grass? didn't know the option existed.

After the final organic spa, we had a relaxing and heavenly stretch....

Such a mild session for a BAF but suffice to burn all the out-of-the-world, world best Nana Nasi Lemak at Ilyanna Aylin Ayob's house yesterday (scroll down for pictures).

Just as we finished our session.... OBC-BU's Biker Harley Davidson Raja Affandi Jamaludin arrived fashionably early for the Bravo session.

and then.... its all about Camwhoring... camwhores!!

The mascot? Yam Chan Siucheh.. our jovial-est recruit...

After our session ended, it rain!! and we proceed to the banana leaf indian restaurant at the Centrepoint for a nescafe tarik and half boil egg..

Thank God again to Sarge Dann, Corporal Chun & Corporal Sandy, we burn a total of 736 (Joe Liew's Polar), 450 Aisan Lim's polar.

We had also ate abit too much with endless open houses... the latest being Ilyanna Aylin Ayob's house. Thank you for the lovely fat rice (Nasi Lemak).
