SNAPSHOT AT PROTON EDAR NETWORK APPRECIATION DINNER 2010

3 December 2010, PROTON EDAR organized an appreciation night for the sales dealer, service dealers and stockist. The even was held at One World Hotel, Bandar Utama from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at the Ruby & Topaz Ballroom.

The colour theme for the night was Orange & Black. At the same time & date, the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP @ Bandar Utama & USJ1 too organised their graduation night!! I was torn between the two but could not declined PROTON EDAR when the Organising Committee Chairman placed my seat at the Main VVIP table.

In his speech, Dato Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Tahir expressed his gratitude to all the Sales Dealers, Service Dealers & Stockist for the continuous support and effort to revived PROTON from all criticism and critics. The Managing Director humbly praised all dealers for standing united especially during the challenging times.

Dato Syed Zainal had promised when he first came to PROTON that he will make sure every cars launched during his tenure will be sell-able and he had kept to his promise. Despite some minor setback in deliveries, PROTON had honored its promises.

Moving forward, PROTON will re-capture its no 1 position as the no 1 best selling brands in Malaysia.

Dato Sri Nadzmi Salleh, PROTON Chairman was then called to grace the occasion. Dato Nadzmi began his speech with recapturing where PROTON was 25 years ago when he first joined EON. PROTON was struggling to sell 500 cars a month in total. From that humble beginning, PROTON now have the most established technology and infrastructure.

Dato Sri Nadzmi Sallehin his powerful voice reiterate that PROTON will NOT fail.. not when he is the Chairman of PROTON. PROTON has only one way forwardl... to be the best.

A sheer workoholic.. whilst everybody are being entertained with senario comedian and Freedom band, Mohamad Syukor Ibrahim PROTON EDAR Chief Executive Officer was having a meeting???

Although I felt lucky but the real lucky guy was the man that won a 22" plasma TV, the Grand Price for the lucky Draw.

I rushed out at 10:30pm sharp to the TGI Friday at the Curve for the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Graduation night after the VVIP had all left the function.
