WHY DO YOU JOIN THE CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP?

People joined the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP for various reasons. Once, there was a couple known as James Fong & Chan Meng Yam whom first joined the COBC to prepare themselves to conquer the Pinnacles at Mulu Caves.  Then there were some idiots (err me Armin Baniaz Pahamin & Nawal Aini Zulkifli) who climbed up the Mt Kinabalu in August 2010 for the second time (and still at COBC to preparation for a third climb?) alongside 20 other bootcampers namely Ili liyana Baharon, Ilyanna Aylin Ayob, Syed Mahadzir Syed Manshor, Abu Lais Walli Mohamed, Anita Ahmad, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Dr Malek Aziz, Farhanah Bamadhaj, Suriana Saiful, Danial Ismail, Faizal Ariff Abdullah, Nyna Mohsen, Rose Emini Pahamin, Farhan Ashroq, Adibah Syazni, Ahmad Afif Zamri, Mohd Arif Taqiyuddin, Wan Nurshazlina Wan Mohd Samsudin and Hyrene Erwina who trained hard at COBC and successfully conquered Mt Kinabalu peak for the first time last year.

Recently, we at the CHIEF's were proud at Haidar Akma and Noora Ann whom struggled through the bad weather, ignored their body fatique and climbed up to bring the NEW COBC Tee shirt at the highest peak in South East Asia!

Freda Liu @ Mt Everest
We are as proud too when FREDA LIU wore and arrived at Mt Everest, Kathmandu in the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Tee Shirt. That is an achievement that we at the CHIEF's are so proud. The BFM 89.9 Business Radio Producer FREDA LIU is CHIEF's pioneer member and had only recently came back from the Everest expedition. Although it was not the peak but the COBC spirit had traveled around the globe and our every recruit had in their own way, successfully achieve their dreams and goal.

There are also more idiots like me, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Rose Emini Pahamin, Chun Chia Kai, Yum Kin Kok, Ilyanna Aylin Ayob (as well as others) whom never stop bootcamping to run Marathons worldwide (cewah macam bagus). Recruits at the CHIEF's had race marathons in Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo, Australia, Paris, United Kingdom, Thailand, Hong Kong and many other parts of the world.

There were also many running-virgins whom had initially only wanted to get fit but end up running 10km races, 15km, 21km and even 42km marathoners such as Rienna Choo, John Chuah, James Fong, Yam Chan SiuCheh, Shear Ling Toh, Lilian Lee, Joannita Zaleha Yusof, Nor A. Othman, Bahariah Bahadom, Joe Liew, Daing Daniel Fitri, Ody Nurfuadi Ruzalli, T'ng Yng Tan, Tricia Frederick, John Ong, Ryang Wong, Syed Mahadzir Syed Manshor, Norliza Affandi, Raja Affandi Raja Jamaludin, Afiza Abdul Halin, Pooi Ching Khiew, Farisya Syukor, Yvonne Chen, Freda Liu, Suriana Saiful Yazan, Jun King, Dr Malek Aziz, Farhanah Bamadhaj, Adibah Syazni Jaafar, Danial Ismail, Lizza Abdul Rahim, and many others... (could not remember all off hand).

There are also recruit such as Nabil Jeffry whom joined the COBC to maintain his fitness to race as an F1 driver and there is a recruit, Hairi Zaid whom is our national gymnast whom kept himself fit via the COBC and soon to compete at Olympic games (or was it Commonwealth?). There was also Malaysian veteran actor whom joined the COBC to stay firm and young to continue acting such as Azhar Sulaiman and corporate figure that kept himself healthy at the COBC to run his companies such as Azman Dahalan. Recruits attached to the Human Resource department whom kept themselves stress-free to be super healthy and able to entertained all the staff's tantrums such as Shear Ling Toh and Jeremy Lim. Lawyers whom has to maintain their fitness to keep screaming and arguing in court such as Viki Lim, Lilian Lee and Jeffery Wong. Boutique owner whom had to always be 'fashionable stylo' and maintained sexy with the COBC such as Pooi Ching Khiew..... Consultants that have to be mentally and physically active especially if attached to multinationals such as Accenture like recruit Mohamad Fazli.

They are also people that joined the COBC because they are getting married and wanted to either look their best or maybe want to be super fit for their 'first night' (Oouch). Couples that has been with COBC with sole intention to get married such as Danny Quest & Ana Aziz and Mohd Amri & Eda Yaacob.

There are some people that join the COBC to socialize and make friends such as Azlan Ramli. There are also people whom joined the COBC purposely to lose weight such as Adibah Mohamad, Lizza Abdul Rahim, Joe Liew (whom was a long-time friend and was aspired at how lean Sarge Dann is now) as well as others.

SHEIKH ALI IMRAN from Damansara Heights ZULU joined the COBC to prepare himself for Water Polo competition at SUKMA (Malaysia Games) which took place today and won Silver medal. He also won fifth placing for Kapas Marang swimming competition. JEFFERY WONG joined the COBC to prepare himself to run an ultramarathon 100km for charity!!

For whatever reason you have, whatever dream you want to achieve... whatever goal you want to celebrate, lets do it together. Let us motivate each other.

But then, who needs a reason to be fit, to look young and actually feel younger with exhilarating burst of power.... that is what the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP is all about.. Getting the best out of you.

HOOOOYAH

  1. Bro, Great write-up!

Idoits...I dun think so, but I would say u guys are a group of Inspiring Souls.

Most of us join COBC for many various reasons, but I joined u guys @ Chief's OBC, primarily to lose my previous weights of 100kg (12mths ago) and to find out how far I can go in Mind, Body & Soul until my breaking point.

Now I'm weight 78kg (after 8wc) around 7mths since I joined COBC-BU and still maintaining. Plus the massive Physical Fitness Improvements in my Core-Strength, Staminas & Endurances that enabled me to complete 8 marathons of (Quarter & Half) in good Personal Best(PB) timing ever since I joined COBC. Thanx to the encouragements by my fellow COBC-BU alpha bootcampers cum runners; ever since .

To my fellow Chief's OBC Trainers, Admins & BootCampers, it had been a great Honor & Inspiration to train in the fellowship. To my friend Sarge Dann, thanx for getting me into this Inspiring family and pushing me beyond my breaking point. You Guys are my greatest INSPIRATIONS to break my limits and to step foot on greater heights.

We Sweats in Endurance, we Motivates in Respects & we HOOYAH in satisfaction! HOOYAH!

We are what we do NOW! -JoeLiewYL

  3. Bro! Losing those weight was not easy, but w/ u guys as a source of encouragements & guidances, why not give it a break-through.

Though I felt like I was in Hell during the whole process but returned a tougher and leaner person. But all those Hardships & Sufferings was worthy when I felt the transformation in myself.

As for your Hooyah in Orgasm! Haha! Bro, it only happens to super deltas like u Mr. Stall-ion. Me only an ordinary delta trying to catch up w/ the Wild Stallion and the rest of the Super Deltas.

However, my story was only a small portion. There are plenty more "Chicken Soup for The Soul" from our very own COBC-BU/USJ/DH BootCampers experience to share w/...(Ask Armin himself, he's got quite a few of interesting personal experience to share with)

    Bon Appetit!

  4. Joe,

actually losing those weights and fat was easier than actually maintaining it!!

Amongst most of us.. the person that best maintain the weight lost and is still losing weight and fat is YOU!!

for that, you become an idol at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP... well done bro..
