ITS ALL ABOUT ME!!! ME AND ME!!!

Yes Armin... of course it is all about you.. its your blog.. but actually, since the birth of this blog, it has never been about me. It is all about those surrounding me except only in this one article posted in Feb 2009 - 25 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME. This is for those that wanted to know me in person. That was because I was tagged once too many on Facebook.

Yes true too, that every year I would take only 1 day Annual Leave and that is on my birthday. When I was young, I kind of.. err sort of excited at how the whole Malaysian in Malaysia and in foreign land would be on holiday on His Majesty the Sultan or the Agong's birthday (yes we are a very loyal subject to our Majesty) and so I reckon, I should be on holiday too on my birthday and in the future, I hope my children and grandchildren will take a holiday on my birthday and spend quality time with me when they are old. There is no other holier day than the day we were born to this blissful world.

For a start, I do not know if I will even see another birthday. Such is life but the uncertainties for people with my past medical history is exponentially higher. Even without any past medical history, we should always express ourselves to everyone that is important to us, as if we are leaving tomorrow and that is actually my birthday blog on every birthday. My cousin of the same age, Noor Arman Putra Mahadi once said to me that his biggest regret was the distance built between him and his dad before his father's departure when we were just 26 years old. Alhamdulillah, my dad is not just a father but he is also my best friend, a business partner and my pillar of strength.

ITS ALL ABOUT MELOR EDINA PAHAMIN ON HER BIRTHDAY..

With five Pisces in the family, there were endless celebrations in February. The next after dad's birthday was Melor Edina Pahamin's. What can we say about Melor Edina Pahamin? For those that knew Melor, if you see how Raisa and Raina is.. that's an exact replica of Melor when she was young. That is not a mystery but what remained a mystery was how she outgrew that and actually survived in Aberystwyth alone during her undergraduate.. oh ya, there was Rhiza Ghazi. Then, there is nothing really mysterious about the third lawyer in the family but since it was her birthday, lets chat abit about my second sister.

There are a few prominent features about Melor Edina Pahamin that is worth mentioning about. For one, she is very easy going, generous and always like to share her things but she is forever very shy to ask for any favor (even from us siblings). So usually, when she is helpless, she will just hide herself in the room.. Raina's style.

ALHAMDULILLAH ANOTHER GOOD YEAR.. ITS ALL ABOUT ROSEY...

What is the significant of 24 AUGUST 2011? Yup... Yes..... thats it, it was the day Allah swt gave birth to my spare part Rose Emini Pahamin that became the only compatible bone marrow donor for my bone marrow transplant 20 years ago in 1991 for leukemia and again in 1994 when I had a relapse. Being the youngest of four sisters in my siblings of six and the only sister that is still single, undoubtedly she became the princess of the Pahamins.

Every year for the longest of time, on every birthday there will be a big huge surprise birthday party such as HERE but this year is a different surprise. This year, it is a surprise birthday blog that compiled all her birthday greetings and dedicated wishes from the people that matters to her the most. Secretly, via Ili Liyana Baharon, I contacted Rosey Mosey's kootoo friends, and BFFs (best friends forever), BBM'ed her other close buddies, the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP and ABP Auto Ventures Sdn Bhd team mate to came out with this..

ILI LIYANA BAHARON: Dear Rosey Mosey... I still remember vividly how we first met. It was during our 1st semester in Uniten, accounts tutorial class, I think. U were alone, prolly waiting for haniradz or ur other frens. Me, being the kiasu one, sat infront with Hanim and Najiyah. Kalau tak silap i, haniradz didnt come for the tutorial. Then time discussion, since we need to discuss in group of 4, dengan selambanya i pusing, and asked u to join our group, out of convenient sebab xyah jln jauh2... Hehehehehe... And the rest is history... Im glad and thankful that we have this friendship, I think Allah wants me to have an extra sister, so He sends you instead.. Alhamdulillah!!! =) I have a poem for you, so here it goes..

AARAF ARMIN'S 8TH BIRTHDAY PARTY THE BOOTCAMP STYLE..

Volley Ball court @ BU 3/1 Sports Compplex, our bootcamp training ground was converted into a party area

Aaraf Eid Pahamin Armin Baniaz aka Aaraf Armin turned 8 years old on 10 December 2010 but the only dates that was available to celebrate Aaraf Armin's birthday was on 19th December 2010. While thinking of a theme for the party, darling Sista Melor Edina Pahamin threw the best idea in all her 35 years of life... the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP!! Yes.. it was MELOR EDINA PAHAMIN that first mooted the idea.. she and all my family knew how fanatical we are over the Military inspired, Group Outdoor Personal training high intensity program!!

It was 8 days before the actual event and although it was a last minute motion, I quickly agree... As there is no better time too celebrate the birthday than to do it together with the soft-launching of the much awaited "Seal Pulps" or the Original Bootcamp for kids and the soft-launch of the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP new logo to the "Chief's Original Bootcamp" in conjunction with the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP's 20th Anniversary.

ROSE EMINI PAHAMIN... SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY...

24 August... Its made-in-Kelantan baby sister Rose Emini Pahamin birthday... Okaay.. 6 days belated birthday blog but nonetheless been abit unproductive without coffee, cigarettes and calories during the fasting month.

Nyna Mohsen, Rose Emini's bff created an event page... and a BBM Group msg to secretly invite approximately 30 of Rose Emini's best friends.. yaa.. somehow, she has too many best friends...

Those that replied and came for the birthday party includes.. ME (OF COURSE).. nawal Aini Zulkifli (of course), Nyna Mohsen (Of course), Ili Liyanna Baharon (of course), Ilyanna Aylin Ayob (of course).. alongside 28 others.

Only 4 invited but could not/did not attend.. Lizza Abdul Rahim (hubby in hospital), Ody Lana, Zil Hamzah, Marina Mokhtar...

9 July 2010, on a 4 car convoy everybody except for me, Rhiza and Azhar Sulaiman left for Sepang Golden Palm resort Gold Coast to celebrate Mum's 62nd Birthday. I had to attend Proton 25 year Silver jubilee celebration at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Rhiza was in Penang attending a court case.. Lawyer! Azhar Sulaiman was in Johor doing some movie shooting.

We bought the villa at the Sepang Gold Coast but took 4 Villas for this weekend celebration.

Its Friday Night, 19 March 2010... and its Dr Malek Aziz & Farhanah Bamadhaj's 11th Anniversary Celebration and Danial Ismail's 29th Birthday dinner.....

Nawal Aini, Ili Liyana Baharon and Nyna Mohsen went earlier at 6pm to  the AL RAWSHA to decorate and prepare the place for our function. I had to drive alone at 7:30pm to the Al Rawsha.

The function was not a surprise party but the decorations and the number of invited friends was a surprise. The 'celebrities', especially the birthday boy thought it was only a handful of us... but more than 30 came.

but before the birthday boy arrived.. Sheessh.. they camwhore first.

It was an Eight O'clock dinner appointment and by eight, most of us arrived and sat 'Kampung' or Japanese style ala on the floor...

We waited and waited for the food to arrived...... AL- Rawsha is reputed for its Lamb Mandhi... the best !!!!


Good food does not come easy.. we waited and waited for the food... 

The longer they took to serve us food, the more we camwhore....


The birthday boy Danial Ismail is still no where to be found...

after dozens of posing, the food finally arrived...

and everybody without hesitation.. just ate and ate... with only the mounching sound without any words being spoken....

A moment later, everything was clean-swipe!!!

Its like.. now you see.. now you dont?!! Clean Sweep!!

and of course... after sweeping clean the plates, someOne began to feel... full? or maybe fool?

To wake us up, we order crates and crates of free-flow ARABIC BEER.... without alcohol!!!

and yaaaaamseeeeng!!!!!

we drank dozens of non-alcoholic beer but the birthday boy is still MISSING!!!! 

and when we were all drunk, the birthday boy finally arrived...!!!!

Which of course... the Bootcamp style!!! late-comers must do GRUNTS!!!! 

and since its the late-comer Danial Ismail's Birthday... although we clean-sweep the food, he was given a special treatment!!! Served like a Prince by two beautiful angels...

and after the Prince is full...... its sing-a-birthday song!!!
