SASUKE MALAYSIA- THE CHALLENGE!!!! DAY 1

For the first time in Malaysian history, an obstacle challenge was build, designed, constructed & park smack right infront of the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya. There was a slight inevitable delay due to a heavy downpour this morning and the first contestant began at 10am. The CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP team came clad sexy in the training t'shirt. Spotted near the obstacle structure, the legendary Makoto Nagano from Japan. Makoto Nagano had attempted the Sasuke Japan Challenge more than 20 times.

HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM AT MURPHY OIL CORPORATION

26 May 2011. If there is any company that is worth being complimented, it must be the MURPHY OIL CORPORATION. Murphy Oil entered the Fortune 100 as world fastest growing company at no #78 in 2006 and being big, i mean huge...  does not take their focus away from 'Safety & Health Awareness' having organised a full day affair for Safety at work & health awareness!! Yes, big pocket always equals to big sinful food and that is where we the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP came in.

Ali Kadir, Murphy Safety Engineer was the man responsible for promoting the safety and health awareness. We, via Ahmad azri were invited to make aware the importance of health to the orang minyak.. err I mean... you know what i mean.

The employees at Murphy Oil were divided into two sessions to fit into Hall 3, Level 3 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). More than 300 employees were expected to attend the 'Safety & Health Awareness program and they were divided into two sessions with one seession starts at 8am to 12:00pm and the second session from 1pm to 5pm. We conducted the workout section for Murphy Oil the CHIEF's style for both morning and evening session.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN- SASUKE MALAYSIA

ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!!!!! In a few hours, 100 participants will try their luck to be Malaysia's first SASUKE WARRIOR!! As the last countdown, I am pleased to collate and display here some of the participant's training video clips!!

THE COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS PARTY!!!! PART 1

Once upon a time, deep in the red river valley of Klang.. err I mean Klang Valley, Doc Holiday, an accomplished to Wyatt Earp arrived at a restaurant at Damansara Hill (direct translation of Bukit Damansara)

Doc Holiday or full name John Malek Doc Holiday Aziz was an American gambler, gunfighter and dentist of the American Old West, who is usually remembered for his friendship with Wyatt Earp and his involvement in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral as well as their partnership at the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP. For Doc Holiday's full story, click HERE.

Rumours has it, there will be a gatherings of hardcore untamed cowboys and girls converted into military inspired recruits!!! Legend has it Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday and Billy the kid are all still alive and are actually working together in a fine display of solidarity at a Military Inspired Camp known as the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP in Malaysia!!! They are now united with other 'lawmen' to convert the cowboys and girls into a military shaped hot physiques!

People joined the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP for various reasons. Some does it for health purpose, some does it to be fit, some does it to lose weight and some does it because they were forced to (err... not by me except for some few friends). Some joined the COBC to force themselves to workout because that is also what I did. Simply surrender myself to the program for one full hour, three times a week.

Delta, 3 times voted the Spirit of Bootcamp & 8 Weeks Challenge finalist James Fong and hot ass Chan Meng Yam joined the COBC 11 months ago to prepare themselves to conquer the Pinnacles at Mulu Caves. Recalling their first experience in June 2010 last year, James Fong and Chan Meng Yam were both an owl being quite wide awake and was out everywhere drinking, dining & partying at night but their lifestyle change when they forced themselves to sleep early in fear of what workout Sarge (COBC) Dann was going to prescribe the next day.

Writing about Chief's Otaiis will not be complete without writing about John Chuah.. yaaa.. he has that bragging right at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP (COBC) solely because he is a living evidence that determination pays!! I first met John Chuah on FACEBOOK when he was deliberating to join the bootcamp or otherwise. When John Chuah first heard about the bootcamp, he took the courage to register and participate but had a storm of butterflies as it gets nearer to the actual start. He drove and park his car at one junction and 'spy' on what we do while training which is actually not a good idea. Having 'saw' what we do..... and calculating his age to the intensity algebra, he almost 'chicken out'.. almost backed-out but was convince when someone told him that the oldest participant was 57 years old.

5 DAYS COUNTDOWN TO SASUKE MALAYSIA

It is only another 5 days Countdown to SASUKE MALAYSA, an unprecedented obstacle challenge that is based on a Japanese TV Sports reality show that was first franchise to the United States of America as the Ninja Warrior and brought to Malaysia soil by Asian Biggest Loser producer Zai Johari that will take place in conjunction with Malaysia 1 million Belia gathering in Putrajaya on 27 May 2011.

Producer Zai Johari has been in search for the first Malaysian warrior since early January to be crown and witness by Malaysia Prime Minister YAB Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak and the honorable Minister of Sports and Youth YB Dato Seri Ahmad Shabery Chik. The response was overwhelming with almost 200 participants that had applied but unfortunately, a maximum of only 80 will be selected. With the overwhelming response, Zai Johari was willing to extend the deadline for application in April to ensure the first Malaysian Warrior is the best warrior to compete in Japan.

The CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP has been in support to all event produced by Zai Johari. We were also with Zai Johari training the Biggest Loser Asia finalist. Now the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP are training the SASUKE PARTICIPANTS to prepare them for the mad-ness obstacle that only the legendary Japanese ninja or samurai are able to pass. The training for all SASUKE PARTICIPANTS is scheduled on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday at 5:45am. One month into the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP one year anniversary, we can't help but to ponder why and how did we get sucked into fitness and the CHIEF'S Healthy Lifestyle. Many people joined the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP for various reason. As a countdown to 1 year anniversary, let us go back into memory lane and see what the pioneer members say about the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP or formerly known as the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP MALAYSIA. Lilian Lee Lin Lin, a lawyer in Kuala Lumpur, the eldest of a sibling of two and a pioneer member at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP once changed her FACEBOOK status from 'single to "In a Relationship with" the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP (COBC). Lilian Lee first joined the COBC to run for full marathon when she had never run nor did she ever exercise. A month later, Lilian Lee ran the BHP Orange 10km run in June at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara and traveled to Perth, Australia in August and attended a session at the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP in Perth. Being a hardcore bootcamper, she could not help but to compare the COBC at Bandar Utama to the OBC in Perth, Australia. Lilian Lee was our first recruit that went and tried COBC session in Australia. All recruits at the COBC can attend any session at COBC overseas being in the same global network.

UP CLOSE & PERSONAL WITH CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP BU-DELTA NABIL JEFFRI

The CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Malaysia will be 1 year old next month and after 11 months of Benchmark record being held by BU-Delta James Fong whom was also voted 3 times Spirit of Bootcamp (SOB) personality, his record was broken by Nabil Jeffri and Sunny Hussain from USJ1. It was ironic because the month that Nabil Jeffri broke the record, James Fong took an unprecedented 1 month off bootcamp to rest the injury from his maiden 21km running race.

If there is any consolation James Fong, Nabil Jeffri or his full name Muhammad Nabil Jan Al Jeffri is way younger than him and is currently Malaysia high achiever to be our F1 racer. Infact, that was the reason Nabil Jeffri is at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP! ......to be fit for racing!!!

Nabil Jeffri an O+ blood type, a straight As students and is the youngest F1 test driver in the world at the age of 16 years in 2010. Nabil's racing achievement dated way back in 2003 when he won the Most Promising Motor Sports Award for the year 2003- Karting. In the same year, Nabil receive a Certificate of Appreciation for conducting Workshop for Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Selangor. Nabil Jeffri was a Talent for RTM 1 Malaysian Extreme Sports & Malaysian Motor Sports, a special guest for RTM1 LIVE coverage Italian F1 and Ambassador for Hot Wheels Racing.

He stepped up to Formula BMW Pacific in 2010, racing for Eurasia Motorsport. On 1 September 2010, Jeffri carried out an aerodynamic test for the Lotus Racing Formula One team, driving the Lotus T127 on the airfield at the Imperial War Museum Duxford,^[2] becoming the youngest ever test driver in Formula One history.^[3] He drove for the team as a member of the AirAsia ASEAN Driver Development Program run by Lotus principal Tony Fernandes. This year, Nabil Jeffri will be competing in the re-structured 2011 Formula Pacific (Formally known as Formula BMW Pacific) under the Petronas MOFAZ Racing Team

H.O.O.Y.A.H. CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP SUBANG JAYA USJ1

Hello Orang-Orang Yang Awesomely Hyper... or H.O.O.Y.A.H. as described by Desiree Jamie from BU-Bravo platoon!! H.O.O.Y.A.H. CHIEF's ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP (COBC) at SUBANG JAYA USJ1 is synonym with the increasing hyper-ness of COBC-USJ1 recruits with one recruit breaking COBC's best benchmark record that was earlier held by thrice-SOB at BU, Delta James Fong and another COBC-USJ1 recruit losing more than 13kg in weight!!!!

Sunny Hussain broke James Fong's record when he recorded 7:43 minutes for his circuit assessment (while James held the best record in 7:53mins). Lamsa Hussain first join CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Subang Jaya USJ1 in February 2011 and now Lamsa weigh 13kg lighter. Lamsa is one of our most committed and disciplined recruit at COBC Subang Jaya USJ1.

Amongst the characters that made USJ1 a hyper place to workout are Sophie Israa Mokhtar, Jasmine Lily Ho, Dofu Shin, Mohd Badrul Ezan, Andrew Pang, Yasmin, Jake Wong, Mathew, Mohd Amri and Eda Yaacob amongst many others. If the picture below is blur and not so clear, it must be the CANON EOSD50 camera.. I was told the 'paparazzi' was already the best of the best!!!! (bluwek). The morning darkness made it quite impossible to capture a good photos but the best that was available was as follows.

The final touch has finally enshrined PROTON cars with a touch of CLASS (CENTER FOR LOGISTIC, ALLOCATION, STORAGE AND SERVICE) that was launched on 10 May 2011 by YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Cars were delivered to customer with sub-standard quality, there were millions of backlog in warranty claims for defected parts and dealers working time were pre-occupied with customers complain.

Everytime before a session began, the REDS.. which are the trainers will arrived at site at least 45 minutes before roll-call to set-up the circuit.

Sarge (COBC) Dann, Corp (COBC) Nawal & Lance Corp (COBC) Wan  arrived at the Damansara Height C0mmunity Centre at 6pm for the schedulise 6:45pm Zulu session. They set-up the circuit and had a trainers briefing.

SNAPSHOTS OF BRAVO PLATOON AT THE CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP

Our recruits brought along their friends, siblings and even family to share their passion to be fit & healthy at the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP (COBC) BRING-A-FRIEND (BAF) Day yesterday. Bring A Friend day is held at the end of every third week of the COBC session. It is a snek-preview... a try-out sort of speak of what we do at the Bootcamp workout.

To welcome those friends and have some fun, we prepared some toys and record them 'playing' with it while burning some serious calories & fat. Special star in the videos were Raja Affandi Raja Jamaludin, Norliza Mohd Khaled, Shaz Sabri (Shazu), Pooi Ching Khiew, Viki Lim, Rose Emini Pahamin, Nyna Mohsen, Lim Shu Shin, Letchumi Sinadurai, Elaine and those section in Bravo Platoon. My apology to Alpha platoon, the paparazzi-stallion was being tortured and could not take any videos of those 40 recruits at alpha platoon. Similar apology to DH Zulu Platoon & USJ1 Alpha platoon but i did camwhore some serious photo at one of the session... Stay Tuned.

Half way through, a lawyer Belinda.. 'friend' brought by Elaine stepped out from the circuit soaked in sweat and exhausted. When approached, Belinda was still in shocked and just could not believe there is hell at 7am??!!!

If for some reason you forgot to update your CELCOM handphone payment and your hp is barred, and you made the payment online via CIMBCLICKS, DO NOT expect your handphone to be instantly re-connected!!!

I logged on www.celcom.com.my to check the outstanding amount to make the necessary payment to the mobile number that has been barred and the following screen appeared:










Having received the amount to pay, I clicked on the "Pay Now" symbol to make the necessary payment.

The next screen then displayed the option to either pay full or to pay "Other amount". I click on "pay full", select "Saving/Current Account (FPX)" and then I click "Continue" on next screen to confirm the payment amount and to proceed to the next step.

At the next screen, I select CIMBCLICKS as the Internet Banking Account preference and proceeded by clicking "Agree and Continue". A CIMBCLICKS pop up window appeared and I requested for TAC, select 'banking account' to make payment and all transaction is done and completed. A payment receipt was then displayed which detailed out the payment date & time at 12/05/2011 22:00:37, the Account Holder's name, Account Number, Mobile Number, Amount Due, Total Amount paid, Approval Code, Transaction Type, Reference Number and Mode of Payment.

MINISTRY OF FINANCE 2012 BUDGET CONSULTATIVE COUNCIL MEETING

Before an annual budget is passed in Parliament, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) went through various cycles to meet and debate with the grass root, private sectors, government agencies and  Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) to construct the budget. There is no exception for next year budget too and part of the process flow was the Budget Consultative Council meeting that was chaired by the Prime Minister YAB Dato Seri Haji Mohd  Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak himself. The event that is scheduled to take place on 27 & 28 May 2011 at Putrajaya will be contested on Hari Belia Negara 2011. Contestant will compete in conjunction with the gathering of 1million Belia and will be broadcasted by TV NHK to hunt for Malaysian Warrior to represent our Country in Japan.

There are approximately 80 contestants but the closing date for entry is on 15 May 2011, so there is still time to register for those that is interested.

BOMBA RUN 2011, LARIAN BERSAMA BOMBA 2011

LARIAN BERSAMA BOMBA 2011 or RUN WITH FIRE FIGHTERS 2011 was held at the Dataran Merdeka yesterday 8 May 2011 and was flagged off at 7:30am sharp. This year marked the 9th Bomba run and we never missed these 10km runs except for last year when a bunch of us typically Rose Emini Pahamin, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Ili Liyana Baharon, Nyna Mohsen & Faizal Ariff Abdullah registered and went for the run but did a 'Raju' instead!!! (click RAJU for that bomba'licious run).

This year there were almost 40 runners from the CHIEF'S ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP, Malaysia and there is no way we could do another Raju!! We had 3 first time Virgin runner!!!! .....namely Shaz Sabri (aka Shazu), Raja Affandi Raja Jamaluddin and Rafikah Malek. The not a Virgin-runners were Corporal (COBC) Chun Chia Kai, LC (COBC) Wan Hazriq, LC (COBC) Letch, Joannita Zaleha Yusoff, Noor A. HIS EXCELLENCY OKHNA MONG RETHTHY VISIT TO MALAYSIA

We had the pleasure having H.E. Okhna Dr Mong Reththy at our house for breakfast this morning. We befriended H.E. Okhna Dr Mong in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia which I blogged in March 2011 at HERE. I have nothing but admiration for the self made man whom first visited Malaysia by driving a truck from Phnom Pehn to Kuala Lumpur in more than 2 weeksjourney. Dr Mong wrote a book of his life journey but unfortunately, its written in Khmer. However, his brief history is available at HERE, achievement at HERE and his company background at HERE.

I brought Dr Mong Reththy whom was in Malaysia for a 4 days working trip to meet and introduced to our Group Chairman cum my father at our residence.

Dr Mong Reththy came with his second son Mong Chantan whom is expected to be a father in less than a month. His son Mong Chantan is incharge of his father's port and rubber plantation. Dr Mong Reththy has 3 sons and 2 daughter. All of them except for the youngest son are all married. Dr Mong children has given him 8 grandchildren. Dr Mong Reththy is not only successful as a businessman but also as a father.

CHIEF'S BU-ALPHA & DH-ZULU SESSION 6: RACING WITH A1 RACER!!

Equipped with 3 hours of sleep, a cup of coffee,  15 ounces  of HEMORAGE Black Ultra concentrated pre-workout drink and HALLS mint sweet, I arrived for the CHIEF ORIGINAL BOOTACMP 6th May 2011 session very early at 5:40am... okaay not so very early but still early.

I quickly noticed Adriano Abila was absent together with Aisham Amir Hisyam, Anuar, Arif Zikir Azizi, Audrey Fong, Azlin, Cindy Yeo, Danial Nassurudin, Danny (Vinod), Dhiya Hazwani Samsudin, Effie, Evonne Yap, Fazli, FREDA LIU, Gareth Yeoh, Hafiz, Hana, Jasjeet, Jazreen JOHN CHUAH, Mabel Cheong, Mohd Fazli Mohd Sarujee, Mohd Noor Al-Hafiz Mohd Nordin, Prabu Premilia Rajanatman, Rajen Dorairaj, Raven Siew Keong Fong, Suraya, TOH SHEAR LING, Tom and Vinothan Danny Ebinesan. ALmost a quarter of those registered for May went AWOL...

I think they think we do not noticed them but we spot every recruit that attended the session with us.
