DKS7- When a pact is broken.. it became a NEW STANDARD

DKS7 = December Kiasu Session 7.
(Note: Still 100% ACE- Attendance!! Commitment!! Effort!!... 5 more sessions to go!!!)

Unfortunately our training session starts at 5:45am... ...  in complete darkness!! and Faizal had previously pre-warned that NO FLASH is allowed for taking pictures!!! So Kenny Smith is safe.... at least from the in-house Paparazzi. There are a few in-house Paparazzis @ KL Alpha...... Doc Malek, Rose Emini & Nyna Mohsein!! ...and the freelance paparazzi Me!!

At the field, Kenny was also safe from the peeping tom(s)... at 5:45am, there is negligible visibility in the morning darkness. Otherwise, there will be an eye-sight display of the hanging garden of babylon during the leg scissor abs exercise and the Jack Knife.

Today's session began with the routine warming up before the team was divided into their respective Delta, Seal and Rangers grouping.

There were three (3) well-planned pre-prepared circuit training and the Seal started with an alternate running circuit with Ms Tee Senior (aka Tali Gemuk, fat rope... ).

Corporal Jason Moriarty (in Red Tee above) a jovial but firm commander was away for a month from a fractured ankle led the Seal with our first circuit train. Jason is also a fellow blogger, See: Jason's Blog. The team was divided into two teams. One person from the first team had to hold Ms Tee's leg on the shoulder with only one hand (at point A) and single-handedly sprint-drag Ms Tee for about 50 metres to Point B and the other team at Point B will then sprint-drag Ms Tee Senior back to Point A.

Whilst waiting for the other team to Sprint-drag Ms Tee, the team-in-waiting had to perform various exercises from military sit up, Jack Knife, Side-bridges, scissor leg crossed, planking, lie down facing the grass & rotate raise one left arm & one right leg up, and lie down facing the front again & raise the head, chest with arm stretch up in the front.

We left Ms Tee drained and exhausted before going to the next circuit under Sergeant Simran... and expected killer workout with SANDra Baglock. (Sandbag). The team was divided into two teams (Alpha & Bravo) with one team partnering the other.  Whilst Alpha hugs Sandra and perform various activities with her, Bravo had to Bear-Walk from Point-A to Point B and once at Point-B, Bravo must sprint to the end of the mark and turned back and pat Alpha on the shoulder and take sandra away from him. Alpha then repeats what Bravo did with Sandra earlier and the cycle continue until Sarge Sim signal to stop.

The Bear-Walk was performed for 2 sets before it was changed to the Crab-Walk. Bear-Walk is crawling using both hand and leg with the chest fronting the field whilst a Crab-Walk is performed with the rear-back facing the field and crawl on both hand and leg.

The Bear-Walk...

The Crab-Walk....

Whilst waiting for the other team to Bear-Walk/Crab-Walk, sprint and turn back to tap the shoulder, the other team must first perform the squat-lifting. Whilst hugging Sandra, the team must squat down until the knee was 90 degree bend,  then stood-up while lifting Sandra until both arm were stretched and Sandra is highest-up. Then slowly bring Sandra down again as the body was lowered down for another squat. This was repeated until the other team mate tap on the shoulder.

The next activity was push-up exercise alternating one hand on Sandra. With one hand (say the left hand) on Sandra and the other on the grass, we had to performed a one rep pumping and change the left hand on Sandra with the right and the other hand on the grass. Repeat the full cycle until the shoulder is tap signalling another change-over to the Bear-Crawl/Crab-Crawl and sprint.

After pumping Sandra, the team had to stand with both leg spread and hold Sandra between the leg. Squat down without dropping Sandra and as the team stood up, raise Sandra up to shoulder level with both arm straight and parallel to the ground.

After a few short bursting orgasms, we had a 60 seconds water break before going on the third or last circuit. The last circuit was a 1km run carrying Ms Tee Junior (a long, slim and petite but heavy rope). All Seal members had to carry Ms Tee on the shoulder and run for 500 metre before we were asked to continue running while lifting Ms Tee with both arm stretched high for another 500 metre.

I burn a good 715 calories with a maximum heart rate of 168 bpm.

The session ended with a warming down session and as the day gets slightly brighter..... we pose with Kenny Smith as an evident that he had completed his punishment for breaking the ACE and set-up a NEW STANDARD to KL ALPHA....

Danny whom was sick with high temperature came this morning to take his attendance and slept in the car.... Lucky for him, otherwise, we would have another FUN ENTERTAINMENT ONLY AT KL ALPHA!!..

The Original Bootcamp Graduation Night @ Mark's place

.
.

After a month of training at the Original Bootcamp (OBC), it is customary for all participants to gather and celebrate their 1 month of improvement... a sort of graduation and the November graduation was celebrated at the Mark's Place, Kelana Jaya.

Every participants benefitted from various improvement in fitness and physique and the most notable gained was in weight lost and stamina. For result, see OBC Timing.

The graduation night was celebrated with a buffet dinner which we missed having to attend a wedding reception in KL.

The dinner that we missed........ (from left: Farhanah.....)

(From Right: Putri Janna, Daing Daniel, his GF, Jannah's BF)

The Original Bootcamp comprised of 5 great teams from Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya; namely KL Alpha, KL Bravo, PJ Alpha, PJ Bravo and PJ Charlie. I met another blogger Suanie from PJ Alpha (see: Suanie) whom has been blogging for already 10 years since 1999. I also met Maya from PJ Bravo whom struggled and could not even complete the benchmark timing when she first joined the Bootcamp but today, she was able to improve with a timing of 15 minutes... Well done Maya.

Those from KL Alpha that attended the Graduation Night was Dr Malek Aziz, Farhanah Bhamadhaj, Suriana Saiful, Tricia Especkerman, Farrah Vivien Raquet, Chun Chia Kai, Kenny Smith, Ana Aziz Kasim, Danny, Puteri Janna, Daing Daniel, Arvind Patmarajah, Peggy Hoegh, Suloshini Jahanath, Nawal Aini Zulkifli, Rose Emini Pahamin, Nyna Mohsein, Shammy Ooi, Shobha Bala, Lilian Lim... and......

KL Deltas Doc Malek Aziz and Chun Chia Kai

KL Alpha Chief Kiasu.....Doctor Malek Aziz

From PJ team mates, I met Soo Pey, Anushia Siva Subramaniam, Maya, Shamil Tan and a dozen others that I was struggling with failure to remember their names... that I happily blamed it on birth defect (see: defect).

 Team mates from PJ

Soo Pey from PJ Charlie

Selva Kumar the franchise holder attended the graduation night for the first time since the Malaysian Original Bootcamp Malaysia was established more than 6 months ago and probably was surprised of what he had created... a bunch of Kiasu.

Most of the trainers except for Simran Latiff were all present. Trainers that close rank and mingle with the participants were Dharmendra Mahalingam, Faizal, Jason Moriarty and  Elin. Simran apologized that he had to give the grad night a rain check; Dharma said, he injured his eye reading my blog (lol with tongue sticking out).

I am with the KL Alpha. KL Alpha or the most Kiasu and fanatically crazy team at OBC, adopted the tagline 100% Attendance, Commitment and Effort (ACE) which depicted their Kiasu-ness. The most Kiasu people agreed upon a PACT for a punishment if they failed to get 100% ACE... specifically 100% attendance! The punishment varies according to their level of Kiasu which the Kiasu Council shall convene and decide!!! and the first punishment was enforced tonight with Super Delta Kenny Smith.

Kenny, who failed to attend the 6th Bootcamp session on Friday had to dress in full Scotland traditonal costume the Scottish Kilt during the graduation night tonight as well as to train in the costume on Monday..... and a good sport Kenny was, he appeared like this.......

Kenny Smith in Scottish Kilt

I pulled Kenny's leg when I realized he did not pulled my leg and really came in full Scottish traditional uniform.

Arvind who failed to observed the 100% attendance pact too was made to wear a red skirt, high heels, red lipstick... but will only be showcased on 26 December 2009.

Kenny was very formal in the Scottish traditional clothing but after a few dozen glasses of whisky, the mystery of what is beneath those kilt was unveiled.... the ladies were screaming (dont know in excitement or horror) and was accompanied by a few men diving under the table.

Kenny's super wife, Michelle Smith was in Australia and a gentle note to Michelle, "Dont worry, we took good care of Kenny..." We had our eyes closed...

After a good laugh, chat and dancing, we left home to get ready for Aaraf's 7th Birthday party bash early tomorrow.

The Scottish Kilt series will continue on Monday when Kenny will be training at the Bootcamp using the OBC T'shirt and the Skirt!!!!

Until then, have a good weekend and Stay Tune for Monday..................

Well Done Mr & MRS Francis Ong Wee Mun

I was invited and attended Mr & Mrs Francis Ong eldest son's wedding at the Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur last night. Francis's son, Eric Ong Koon Kit is married to Carolyn Choy Sin Yan, the daughter of Mr & Mrs Choy Meen Sui.

Eric & Carolyn marriage was registered at the Registry of Civil Marriages, Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur and the wedding dinner was held on 121209; 12 December 2009, Lobby Floor, Concorde Ballroom, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

We arrived at the dinner reception at 7:00pm SHARP having read the invitation that stated the time at 7:00pm SHARP and was seated together with Abu Lais Walli Mohamed, Anita Ahmad, SB Siaw, Tuan Haji Razak Aziz, Justin, Fathul Rahman. We also met the rebranded Tuan Haji Mohd Shukor Ibrahim, Proton Edar CEO whom had recently returned from pilgrimage and Abdul Sidik Hamid whom quite typical, left his other half Shahirah at home and came alone.

The dinner that was attended by at least 500 guests commenced at 8:30pm with a 10 course chinese dinner. We had to leave at the 4th meal course to attend another function and slowly sneaked out while the parent, bride and the groom went from table to table to Yaaamseeeng....

Congratulation Francis on the new addition to the family. May the marriage be blessed with eternal happiness and bear a futsal team of children.
